Vicky is a dynamic speaker, award-winning author and international speaker. By blending mindfulness and faith, Vicky reminds her audiences of the importance of being present in the moment and cultivating a sense of gratitude. She firmly believes that we come from Love to love!
You can find Vicky walking with people on their healing journeys, doing street ministry, serving in Uganda as a missionary, sitting in a meditation or cheering loudly at one of her four children's athletic events.
Vicky's "Messy Ministry"
The one word that seems most appropriate to describe Vicky's ministry is…MESSY!
Vicky has been put on this earth to find the lost souls, and in doing so, she meets some amazing people. Sometimes you will find her setting up a tent for a friend from the homeless community, feeding the pets of a person who is incarcerated, delivering groceries to a recovering addict, loving on kids in Uganda, holding hands with a person who is dying, or walking with someone through the healing of a trauma. Vicky loves hosting spiritual retreats and helping people to discover news ways to love themselves so they can receive the love of the divine and then go into the world to share that love. No two days are alike and that’s just the way she likes it!
Of course, as a pastor she does the usual things too like baptisms, weddings, funerals, pastoral care, hospital visits, pre-marital counseling, preaching and spiritual healing. One of her favorite hours of the week is when she hosts a spiritual discussion with all walks of faith. It is there the group asks the question, “what if?” to expand their lens to see the vastness of the divine in a new light.
